Mentoring services are provided by several agencies, and are designed to help you, whether you are starting your own business, or have recently established one. Typically, mentoring services will provide you with advisers to help overcome business obstacles. Generally, the advisers are mature, experienced professional business people.

Please note, however, that the mentor is normally not a professional consultant and may not become actively involved in the day-to-day management or assume the role of executive in your company.
Some Agencies are able to offer you extensive mentoring advice, including Local Enterprise Office Dublin City, Dublin Business Innovation Centre and Enterprise Ireland. Others offer very specialist services, such as Bord Bia (Irish Food Board).
