The Spade Centre was established in 1988 to assist people to set up their own business by providing good quality incubator units. These units range in size from 14 square metres to 140 square metres. Facilities include food grade, light manufacturing, office units and secretarial services. Head office, which houses thirty three units, is in North King Street, Dublin 7, in the converted St. Paul's church. There are six units in Oxmantown Lane, Dublin 7 and six in Newmarket Square, Dublin 8. The emphasis is on effective support, aided by a very active board of management and a friendly, efficient core staff.
