Certain types of business will require that you obtain registration and/or a licence.

  • Safety of Toys;
  • Weighing Instruments.

Food Products

Simple, good food safety and hygiene practices are an essential component of any food business in order to protect the consumers’ health. There are three basic steps that you must take to set up a food business successfully: -

  • Understand the Relevant Legislation;
  • Register your business with the local office of the Health Service Executive (HSE);
  • Obtain a copy of the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI) guidelines.
